    Excel file not opening from samba share folder

    hi all
    i have a question. when i users with read and excute privilage wants to access an excel file on samba share it says the file could not be found but it is not a problem for a user with full privilage

    i am using debian lenny and samba server as my domain controler and the version is samba 3.2.5

    This post was a long time ago (6 months). Do you still need help with it? If so, what are the permissions on the folder AND the files? Use the "ls -l" command to see.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
