Internal proxy system with login, to access internet
Hi LinuxForum
This is my first post, but i have a question.
I'm going to keep lan party for me and a couple of friends and some of their friends. But i only have a 10/10 mbit connection, and i am afraid that some of them will eat up all of the connection, so i am looking for a system that can make sure that they need to login on a webpage, and then access the internet, but all their activity is logged in some kind of way.
Is it possible?
My server has 2 network card so i am thinking about bridging them together and have a proxy system between them.
If it's possible to have some kind of MySQL database storing the users, and maybe some info about their activity it would be perfect.
Can you help?
