HAProxy on Debian having high Slab Cache
I have debian squeeze servers. I upgraded the kernel from 2.6.35 to 3.2.0 and 3.6.8. as soon as I started the server with 3.2.0 kernel, memory graph started showing increasing slab cache usage. later in few days slab cache occupied more than 80% of memory. And finaly one day, server went non-responsive. I rebooted the server and everything started again. This cycle is going on. All these servers running HAProxy on it and having good traffic on it. After reboot it take 10 to 15 days only to occupy 80% of memory by slab cache.
Please suggest if there is any way to stop slab cache usage. Instead of helping me slab cache is being problematic to me. Even the drop_cache don't work on it. It will be good if I will be able to flush it or disable the slab cache.
