Hi, I am using Debian stable XFCE. Problem is although device is recognized the bluetooth icon doesnt appear in the tray. So I cant browse files on my phone....

    Bluetooth problem


    Hi,

    I am using Debian stable XFCE.

    Problem is although device is recognized the bluetooth icon doesnt appear in the tray.

    So I cant browse files on my phone.

    You say the device is recognized. How? Just the hardware in lsusb? Have you verified the driver is loaded and working? Have you tried to add the bluetooth icon directly to the task bar?

    I have added this package
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install blueman
    Now, the icon appears in tray,
