Moving Encrypted Volume Group to New Server

I have a Debian Wheezy server with an encrypted LVM volume group (it's a nested VG, sitting under the boot VG) that I would like to back up and copy to another server, preferably via a USB drive. Are there any times on doing this?

File level backup seems most appropriate for your situation. I'm not sure what you mean by "Are there any times...?"
