Need help with Debian Squid3 Proxy settings
I have been googling for days now trying to figure out my problem.
I have installed Squid3, Samba, Winbind, and Krb5_user. I setup the proxy server so users can authenticate off Active Directory.
I can perform the following tests that are all successfull:
wbinfo -a <username>
wbinfo -r <username>
wbinfo -K <username>
I have my squid.conf file configured to look inside a group from Active Directory called GG_PROXY_ALLOW_ALL and i know this is working becuase when I add myself to this group I have FULL internet access. When I take myself out of this group I get access denied. So that is telling me that my linux proxy server is pulling from that AD group.
MY PROBLEM is that I have to restart winbind before the new changes in the AD Group are affected.
I add Tim to the group GG_PROXY_ALLOW_ALL and he will NOT get internet access untill I telnet to my Linux box and issue the
even then it take about 2 - 5 min before Tim is allowed to access the internet.
Why whould this be happening?
