    Hi Amitha,
Well amitha when u boot into linux. At Command Line Interface (CLI) plz type the command lspci. This command will help you list the number of PCI devices in ur system. Please see your ethernet device...linux will list ur ethernet device.

    For rg. Intel eepro 100.

Please check out the required ethernet device. and then type modconf.

Modconf command permanently loads modules into the kernel. From the list select the appropriate drivers and try. I guess this shoudl help.

Well try this out and get back to me.
