    Kiosk Power Out Boot problems?

I'm having a little problem that can be fixed with a UPS. But that
aside for those of you with linux machines if you were to plug it out.
would you have problems booting it up the next time. I seem to be
having problems everytime at the moment. I have had to run fsck and my
mysql database is usually currupt. this is a kiosk machine so it needs
to boot up every time without user interaction.

    Its running Debian .

Is there something i can do to reduce problems when linux doesn't
shutdown properly.. can i set it up in such away that it auto fixes any
problems caused by the power out?

Any ideas .. even on changing the way i update the mysql database so it
recovers on the next boot automatically and therefore doesn;t hault the
    system.

    Thanks,
    Derek

Is the disk stable? What type of filesystem are you running out on that?
