    How can I change the desktop with vncserver?


    I hate gnome so much that the first thing I got aptitude to do was get rid of it. But I can't get anything but from vncserver! Someone please help, I've scoured every man page, googled and nothing helps

    there is what you can do...!!

    on your

    ~/.vnc/xstartup

    you put it like that

    --- 8< ---
    #!/bin/sh
    xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
    xsetroot -solid grey
    xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
    blackbox &
    --- >8 ---


    then you will have a blackbox.. or wmaker..

    which one you want..
