    best place to download



    well im trying to download a copy of Debian but using bittorent is just painfully slow, so my question is, is there any better place to download it or am i just left having to leave my computer on for a couple of days?

    Apparently, the Debian website suggests that you could use jigdo. This is the website: http://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/

    they recommend, but you can do just a normal ftp/http download if you want

    Absolutely. The website with the list of mirrors is http://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/. I dont not see ISO's for testing or unstable but I do for stable. Maybe someone could redirect you to download sites for testing and unstable (sorry, I am not a Debian guy).

    I know this might be off of the topic but are all 14 discs required for a sarge install?

    if you have no internet connection and you want every possible package. I just get the first and then download the rest with apt-get.
