i installed wu-ftpd using the apt-get command,using putty.everything ok it asked if i wanted to create annom user in etc/home,i said yes.then used flash fxp to connect under annom and everything was fine.i then searched the web looking for info on how to access root through flash fxp,in the proccess i deleted the /home folder in /etc.now i cant access my ftp server at all,i get this

i have been at this for days trying to work out how to fix the problem,i tried to reinstall wu-ftpd but this time i didnt get the option to make etc/home.as you can probably tell im a complete noob to linux,all im wanting to do is swap files from my home pc to my remote server into root using ftp.any help will be well appreciated.ive been at this for days and searched loads of forums but got know were.i know some files need editing but just not sure which ones and how.
