    Hi mfaridi,

You may not have the codecs. Try downloding the essential codec pack from here (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design7/dload.html) and copying the libraries to /usr/local/lib/codecs (you will have to make the codecs directory).

    Hope that helps,
    Bryan

Try Totem instead of Xine or Mplayer. Works fine for me.

About the codecs, that is the codec directory for MPlayer. For xine, put them in /usr/lib/win32 (I think you may need to make the win32 directory).

As for Totem, it is just a frontend for Xine, so if Xine doesnt work, Totem won't.
