    Cedega under ubuntu.

I have installed ubuntu and went to http://www.transgaming.com/sources.php to get the cvs version of cedega. I type what they tell me to into a terminal:

    cvs -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login

I get an error message saying that the file or directory does not exist, but when i do it with Fedora Core 3, it works fine. Is there anything i need to do? I already tried the "sudo" command and it says the same thing.

what actually happens is, when you get the error, try it one more time, because cvs doesnt find the file... and creates it, gives you an error, so next time you try it, the file exists.

(i had the same problem with the same program on the same distro)

I did it twice, but the same message appears. It says "bash: cvs: command not found". ???

OHH! well you gota install cvs!

hahaha, im very sorry, i was referring to an error that happens AFTER cvs is installed(and used)

using apt-get(or the synaptic package manager) and doing a search for cvs should locate the files you need. just install those and you'll be set.
