Need help Installing WG311 v1 Netgear Wireless card
Wifi card: Netgear WG311 v1
Debian: kernel 2.6.8
I've tried ndiswrapper, but I get an invalid driver message. I'm gussing that is because the driver from netgear I tried is an exe file. Is there some other file I need instead? I've also tried to get through the install of the madwifi driver, but I'm a little confused on that.
I'm new to linux. I want to set this computer up as a file server. I also picked up a 10 gig hard drive to install linux on separate from my 120 gig drive, which will be for data. We ran out of wired ports on our router, so I'm using a wireless card.
Thanks.
