    Apt-get Not working

    Im new to this forum, but not to linux.


    Went to update my debian unstable box with apt-get update and all of a sudden i got a screen full of error 404 not found I can ping the sites but have no idea what the next step would be.


    Any help would be great.

    Try late the mirrors in your sources.list my be down or update your list to new mirrors.

    the list of mirrors may always be found in the file http://www.debian.org/mirror/mirrors_full.

    Was working on it for about 6 hours trying to figure out what was up.

    And after getting a few emaisl from web admins,

    Make it short they redid some of there mirrors and rearanged the file tree's.

    Thanks for the link will go there now and make a new list.
