    gcc problem

    I downloaded the gZipped Tarball for Kasablanca 0.4.0.2 and unzipped it to its own directory. From there I tried to do a ./configure command, but when the c compiler(gcc) tries to make an output filename, I get an error. Below is the printout:

    try downloading the debian package http://download.berlios.de/kasablanc...3.1-1_i386.deb
    then

    i just did "/usr/bin/ld: crt1.o: No such file: No such file or directory" on http://google.com

    http://packages.debian.org/stable/libdevel/libc6-dev

    apt-get install libc6-dev

    or, aptitude '/' "libc6-dev" '+' 'g' 'g'

    I redownloaded the .deb package and dkpg -i and it worked!
