Interchange names of hda7 and hda6

Somehow this has hapened all by itself on a restart.

I need to tell it that the disk it has named hda6 is actually hda7 and vice versa.

/ is on hda7 so without it, there is no OS

    Anyone help?

Boot a like cd like knoppix, then mount the / partition (hda7) and edit the /etc/fstab for the mounted partition and swap the drive names around.
