    dialer on desktop

    I would like the pppd dialer to be on the desktop,so
    it isn't necessary to open a shell to command pon.
    I am using KDE for my manager. I have wvdial
    also, if it would be more appropriate for this
    application. Any help?

    Right click on the desktop and you can choose to 'create launcher' or something similar, just enter the command you would type in the terminal and then check the box 'open in termial' you should be able to also add an icon and the like.

    kppp is one of the more popular dialers, should you want to try that,
