nvidia driver with amd64 debian

I hope someone can help me. I installed nvidia driver

NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-7667-pkg2.run

But when I try to launch X server . it told me that nvidia module doesn"t exist.
However I do a modprobe on it and I get :

If someone can help me thank you.

Uninstall the official driver.

Add this in your sources list:

Next do(as root)

#apt-get install gcc-3.4 nvidia-kernel-source nvidia-kernel-common kernel-headers-2.6.8-11-amd64-k8(replace this with the kernel version you're using and keep doing this, see uname -r)
#cd /usr/src
#gunzip nvidia-kernel-source.tar.gz
#tar -xf nvidia-kernel-source.tar
#cd /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-11-amd64-k8
#CC=gcc-3.4 make-kpkg modules_image
#cd /usr/src
#dpkg -i nvidia-kernel-2.6.8-11-amd64-k8_1.0.7174-3+10.00.Custom_amd64.deb
#apt-get install nvidia-glx nvidia-glx-dev

PS: not sure if all version numbers are still correct.
