    What sofware to use for Debian

    Hello members. I would like to know what is the best multimedia software that plays all media formats and has a great interface, basically what is the best multimedia software out there. Also I would like to know what software is the best for the following:

    - Multimedia (AVI, MPEG, MPG, DivX, MP3, AAC, MP4)

    - Microsoft Office Equivelant (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

    - Image Editor

    Also how do I set the software to be the DEFAULT program that the application uses?
    Also how do I import my Microsoft Outlook messages and contacts into Mozilla Thunderbird?
