How can I get these to load in Firefox? It asks me to download the extension, but then says I have to manually install it.

As far as Macromedia, are you needing flash? If so, download it from here and follow the instructions. If you get stuck just whistle..

i don't think you can play media player in web browsers...........it belongs to microsoft

You can't play WMP on linux, but mplayer will allow you to play wmv streams in firefox

Yup the mplayer plugin is available from mozilla from the plugins page. Alternatively there is a Kaffeine plugin which is quite good, but I prefere the mplayer plugin myself. (You can sace streams...even from apple.com so stuff like the trailers
)

Are you referring to Windows Media Player? I know that you can player WMP and RealPlayer in browsers. You can also get the target file and play them without the browser. This is in Windows though. It should still work in Linux, however.

Isn't that a browser plugin for WMP? I don't know if that will be available for linux

LoL, I don't know I'm so confused. I read that someone had certain Windows programs running on Linux and in the list he gave was WMP.
