    If you mean mixing both repos, that's not a very good idea!
    Better just update to testing or unstable or even better, use backports on your stable:
    http://backports.org/ (meaning you can add one single package to your sources.list without making it less stable)

    All I did was open up my /etc/apt/sources.list and changed all the "stable"(s) to "testing." Then ran...

    apt-get update

    apt-get uprade

    Now I have Etch and everything runs smoothly.
