Can't write password
I have installed Debian, the minimalistic-boot-cd on ~100 mb. I have installed it, downloaded the files for it being a desktop home-pc. I have given myself a root username and a password i think, and restarted as it said. But now, then it says to enter Login-name and password, i write in the Login-name easy, but then i have to write the Password nothing happens then i push the keys.
I can't write my password.
What should i do? I have a Logitech standard keyboard. I dont know what model it is, but not a special one at least.
Pls tell me what to do.

In linux the password doesn't show up when you type it - this is done for security. So just type the password, and press enter, the password will not show up, but you should logon
