    same

ok thanks for that .... what if i have installed the html documentations...??? Then in that case I would have to use http://localhost and query my apache server......now how do i get the list of the port numbers to use to check these docs....???

well i chked the folder /usr/share/doc/php4 ....but these just just show the docs that are installed along with the application being installed...

i actually meant to download the docs independently.....like python documentation available on the parent site......wch is a tar.gz file having an HTML front-end. Well, can i install these using synaptic....?? I guess you can .... If so then what are the port numbers that I should use while querying my apache server....???

thanks a lot .... this could make my life much easier...
