PartitionMagic / resizing nfts + resizing AND moving fat32, ext2-swap, ext3-/root and ext3-/home = messed up partition table
= missing ubuntu-ext3-/root-directory, all other are safe and sound.
TestDisk found all the old partitions PLUS the new proper-ones save that root. I can see the exact cylinders where the new /root should start and end, the very place where it should've been after partition magic. So I could maybe recover it by using TestDisk, but the whole program seems mysterious to me. It would be nice to know what I am doing while using it, don't want to make any more mistakes...
