.deb packages?
Ok, this might seem silly, but is there anywhere I could get debian .deb packages, instead of having to find them on the home pages of the programs themselves? The thing is I can't access the net with my laptop since the normal network card does not work, and I need wpa_supplicant as well as some other stuff to setup my wireless (so I can connect to the wireless network at my university). I want to download the .deb's, save them to a usb stick and install them on my laptop.
On the debian site, all I see is a list of packages, not the actual packages themselves.Stumbling around the 'net:

Do a search here for the packages you want. You'll get some web addresses. Rather than add these to your /etc/apt/sources.list (as most people do), just browse around the folders and see the debs you want.

there are on debian's site. For example
debian search mozilla-firefox
select your distribution, then scroll down to Download mozilla-firefox, then select the mirror you want.Brilliant Mediocrity - Making Failure Look Good
