login trouble
I just did a brandspanken new installation of debian. It askes for debian login: I put in my user name
It then prompts me for my 'password:' from there, I cannot type in anything......it's like I dont have a keyboard any more...but wtf, I typed in my user name..lol Any help would be appreciated!

i didnt know that what i typed could not be seen, which was noobish because thats just how it works. You type your password, then press enter even though it seems you didnt type anything
