Anti-aliasing for OpenType (otf) fonts
I use quite a lot of otf fonts in my work, and I'm having problems getting anti-aliasing to work for them. This is particularly pressing in OpenOffice, but also in general. I've followed the instructions here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/10...onts_in_linux/, and at least the programs can read the fonts, but they look ugly as [...]. Any hints?
A workable workaround is to convert the fonts to ttf format and use the font replacement table in OOo, but it would be nice with a more direct solution....
