    kde wont start

theres a good chance im doing this wrong because i am a linux n00b, but i installed kde and did "startx". then it gave me this error.
    Code:
/usr/x11r6/lib/x11/xinit/xserver: Line 2: /usr/bin/x11/x: no such file or directory
/usr/x11r6/lib/x11/xinit/xserver: line 2: exec: /usr/bin/x11/x: cannot execute: no such file or directory

    giving up.
xinit: no such file or directory (errorno 2): unable to connect to xserver
xinit: no such process (errorno 3) server error.
What should i do to fix this?

    Lo
How have u installed xfree or xorg?
I suppose its xfree (u might be in sarge!). Tell us how u install it: it seems that sth is missing.
    Try
    Code:
    dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

ok. i downloaded and installed xserver
now when i hit startx, it gives me this error:
    Code:
     (EE) no devices detected.
Fatal server error: no screens found.
any ideas? its entirely possible i did the setup wrong. if that might be the case, where is the setup utility located?
