    Mounting a new hdd?

I set up ubunto 5.10 as a fileserver and ftp server. Now i need more space on my hdd so i installed a new one. What steps do u have to go through in order to write on it. Its pluged into secondary slave just an info. I also want to delete everything thats on it right now, so i assume a format would be nice

    thx for any advice

If it's the secondary slave it'll be located in /dev/hdd. To get it going, check the man pages for cfdisk (partitioner), mkfs (format), mount, and fstab. Shouldn't be hard at all.
