Is there a simple way to make all the players use arts?
Also I didnt understand the points that the dev said.
Can anyone explain that to me?
Thanks,

Sound daemon
probably is your sound daemon arts.
arts is a daemon wich take control over the sourdcard. KDE uses it to sound events...
A program must provide support to arts. WIthout support, you can stop arts and everything will go well...When using Windows, have you ever told "Ehi... do your business?"

Ok. So disabling the arts deamon would do the trick, right?
I wonder why should the kde cause such a huge functional regressions.
Regressions DONT go well with the users.

If you are using Ubuntu with KDE, why not get Kubuntu? It would be much easier to setup.
