I have managed to get my sound card working on Debian unstable but I have this problem now.

I can play and record audio on the debian machine and it plays just fine. But if I record some sound to a wav file and transfer it to another machine. On the other machine it plays so fast I cannot understand a bit of it.

Any hints please?
