    ALS100 - ISA sound card

    Hi

My problem isnt new. I have huge problems with installing ISA sound card (ALS100) on my Debian GNU/Linux (sarge).
I tried many recipies and its all failed. I failed. When I installed system and started KDE I got:

    sound server informational message:
error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (no such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device

What I did... I opened google and tried to solve the problem. Unfortunatly without any succes.
Because it is ISA card i installed isapnptools. Then I created /etc/isapnp.conf.
Next #pnpdump > /etc/isapnp.conf I selected something in this file..
    And #isapnp isapnp.conf
I loaded appropriated modules... I think.

    And... it doesnt work.
After making /dev?MAKEDEV I dont have still files like /dev/audio or /dev/dsp

I attach dmesg, lspci, isapnp.conf, lsmod, sndstat.

If it says program not found do
    Code:
    apt-get install alsa-utils

    i did...
alsa doesnt detect my card but i get:
/usr/sbin/alsaconf: line 1178: /etc/init.d/alsa: No such file or directory
It seems i dont have alsa in init.d directory.
    Where to find this script??
