    Strange behaviour with booting and no monitor connected?



    Could it be possible that linux or just ubuntu doesnt want to start without being connected to monitor screen? When i connect a monitor and no mouse and no keyboard everything is fine, however when i disconnect everything except the LAN cable its just doesnt want to boot??

    Most desktop machines require a keyboard to be plugged in to proceed to booting, although we have some newer Compaqs at my job that no longer consider that a problem.

    Figured it out myself :)

    I somehow fixed the problem, it wasnt the keyboad thing. I set the bios up so wont halt on any error. I just pluged the jumper to cable select and it showed up again. Then i went to the tutorial site from this page, which i warmley suggest every newbie like me and followed the utorial on adding a new hdd. Applied it to my case an bang it works like a dream!
