However, I don't think that was your problem. Just some minor issues. I think the problem is that testing is currently going through the x.org/kde transition. It may take a while (a few weeks) to get everything sorted out. I would either go back to sarge, or try to add sarge mirrors to your /etc/apt/sources.list and try to have a mixed system (have certain packages from certain versions)
