    Help with resolutions

Hello. I just changed from SuSE to Ubuntu. When I was installing Ubuntu it asked me what resolutions do I want to use. I accidently choosed 1024x768 and all the smaller ones below it. Now I can't change to a bigger resolution than 1024x768. Is there anyway I could fix this?

I am sure there is some special ubuntu way, but I would just edit the
    Code:
    /etc/X11/xorg.conf
file and add those resolutions you want

It only lets me read the xorg.conf. And doesn't let me change the rights of the file so that I could edit it. How can I edit it?

Or if somebody knows a special ubuntu way I would be thankful.

    Code:
    sudo <command>
when you want to edit it with nano try this
    Code:
    sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Thanks guys, I got some bigger resolutions but didn't get 1152x864 which is the resolution I'd like to use. Does anybody have that resolution on Ubuntu? Now using 1280x1024 which is pretty good but the text on most websites is too small.

You might be able to tell your browser to increase the text size. Possibly Control++ (that is the Control and Plus key simultaneously).
