    but I want to know if it happens in all systems.
    when started firefox for the first time after boot it takes 6 to 7 secs to start ..
    it is the same case in my friends system also ...
    does this happen to you also ..or only me..

    Yes. Programs take longer to start the first time around (the same happens with firefox in windows).
