    i810 in debian

my system hardware is Intel D845 GLAD 1.8GHz P4 15" monitor
now the problem is Iam not able to use cedega..
in the README of cedega installation it says you need atleast 500FPS
when I check it with glxgears ..it shows only 300-400 FPS
so where is the problem ...while booting AGPGART something similar comes and says my chipset detected ...so,
do I need to install my video driver to increase FPS
    if yes how??
or Is it that I can't have more than that
are there any settings to change

if you are using the i810 driver that may be as accelerated as you can get. I have the same issue. If you run at depth 16 or lower it will enable hardware acceleration with the standard i810 driver. There exists somewhere an old redhat driver for i810 chipsets that may be better.

Truth be told, that chipset is crap and in linux I'm glad to take the 300-400 fps and run. When I first installed and tried running at depth 24 I only got 75 fps...
