upgrade smb4k (X includes error)
I am trying to upgrade from smb4k .5 something to smb4k 0.6.4
First, do i need to uninstall the lesser version? if so, how?
i've already tried installing the greater version over the lesser. i downloaded the source, gunzipped and tarred it into a directory, and tried to run the configure script. i got the error "checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!" I search on google for some help and found these forums. Specifically this post: http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ptopic19023.html. I used the export command and retried the configure script with the same error.
How do i get version 0.6.4 to install properly? should i undo the export command in the aforementioned post? how?
thanks
