New to Linux and need help(packaging help)

First of all I am using Kubuntu Live CD right now since I do not want to install Linux as of yet. As a first project I'd like to install Azereus. Everytime I go into the termnal and enter apt-get install azereus it gives me two postive results and at the end it says could not package Azereus. So how exactly do I package azereus so it will install?

    Thank you

You can't install programs to a live CD...since you can't write to the CD. To install anything you'll have to install linux.

    There's this possibility: http://klik.atekon.de/

However, I only learned about it due to someone else's problems getting it to work with kubuntu ...

Ok then, how would I install (K)ubuntu to create a dual boot system. I have an open FAT32 partition open is there anyway to get the installer to use that partition and make the three sub partitions? Also the installer does all the GRUB and LILO work for me right, or do I have to do that fun stuff?

The best idea, of course, is to read the kubuntu docs ... I installed ubuntu once to look it over, and it went on easily. Kubuntu is just the same as ubuntu with kde instead of gnome.

Yes, you'll get to choose the partition to install to ... just make sure you don't trash your win partition or overwrite anything you want to keep, and everything you do can be undone again. Grub should be handled by the installer, and that can be undone later with fdisk /mbr from windows as well if necessary.
