Upgrade or not?
All,
I have been running one of the "testing" versions of Sarge for about 9 months or so. Since then Sarge has come out officially and I have not upgraded to the stable release yet. My question is should I? I have not really had any issues with my current setup, I am using it as a web server along with apache and it has been running straight for 9 months with a couple of standard maintenance restarts. So am I missing anything by not upgrading to the stable release of Sarge?
Thanks!

If it works for you, then I see no reason to change.

Agree.... aside from adding a few packages from "etch", my Debian box is essentially unchanged from the one I first installed.

Thanks, that is how I saw it. I have read the release notes, I just did not know if I was missing anything major. Again so far 9 months has passed and the only time I have had it go down was when I took it down on purpose. So even for a "testing" release, it is very stable. Thanks again!!

Solution
i think you should upgrade, u toll us this:
Better way are upgrade all packages, cause the old packages had many vulnebaritys, like PHP, if u had installed PHP, apache, FTPd, ... the lastest packages had vulnebariliy fixeds., I am using it as a web server along with apache and it has been running straight for 9 months with a couple of standard maintenance restarts. So am I missing anything by not upgrading to the stable release of Sarge?
I think thats a good reason for upgrade.
