If anyone still wants a suggestion I'll try......

The few times that I wasn't able to get Xandros to just "go" was too little memory or a quirky video card....

    I'll drop back by.

    ain't xandros great!

    clean cd

    OUCH!
Pleeeeese don't throw something though the monitor!

I was over at the forums and ran across a thread that was asking exactly the same question, and one of the folks said "don't throw something through the montor(or something like that)", but have you cleaned the cd?

The guy tried it and came back next post, that was it.....

    just an idea!

Just an obvious thought, but it could be a bad burn. Check the md5sum and burn again at a slower speed. I've run into this several times.

    I get the same error

Md5 check sum is the same.
burnt twice and still the install stops at 90%.
I guess I will have to find a new OS.
I burnt my desk at half speed.
I would like to try this program.
Maybe my test PC is to old.
    800Mhz processor --- 256Mb ram --- 20 gig HD
Well good luck and let me know if you get it going
