    Sound Blaster AWE64 Won't Work



    I believe I have isapnp configured correctly but alsaconfig will not recognize the card to let me set it up.

    I have been wrestling with this problem now for several weeks and everything that google has turned up either does not pertain to this type of card specifically or is about seven years old.

    Anyone still use these cards these days? Any advice?

    Just Wondering....

    Did you ever get your soundcard working? If not what version of the kernel are you using? I have some simular problems but I have the card partially working with ALSA.
