Kernel error
Hi!
I am very new to linux in general and Debian in particular. I just installed it on my PII machine and it seem to work fine but I got two problems. One is in this post, one in the next.
So I began fooling around with the settings and went to Control Center Linux Kernel. When I try to access this part I get the message below. Could someone tell me what to do next?
My machine is PII, 198MB RAm etc (well, I know, an old Pentium but it works...)

manual configuration
uhm... I've also tried to use th KDE kernel configuration, but wothout success because it don't support 2.6 linux kernels.
I suggest to enter in /usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.x and execute "make menuconfig". Probably the tool you are using need a lot of libreries to get it work.
btw. You are using sarge? I suggest to use a debian woody because a PII seems too slow for recent softwares.
When using Windows, have you ever told "Ehi... do your business?"
