Every time I reboot my eth0 (Marvell Gigbite Card) is shutdown by the skge driver. How do I fix this.

It means every time I reboot into winbox or Slackware my network card is down and I do not get it up and running again. (ifup eth0 doesn't work).

You must configure the network settings... it depends by what distro you're using...

try to exec "man interfaces". It tell you how configure automatically network interfaces automaticaalyy with ifup/ifdow
When using Windows, have you ever told "Ehi... do your business?"

Maybe you could try removing and reseating the card, this has solved a few unexplainable problems for me in the past.
