    yet another n00b question

    how do i change my bootloader on Mepis? its grub .. running on linux kernel 2.6 .. i know in PCLinuxOS, and suse you could do it graphically through a control center. but i dont know how to do it now

    i want to reorder the OS's and change the default and the time-to-boot

    .. please help :P

    If you are not comfortable editing the grub configuratin file manually, you could use the Gnome System Tools..

    It's actually quite easy to edit the grub configuration file. Post the contents of /boot/grub/menu.lst (that's a lower-case L, not a number one), and I can help you to understand how to do it.
