I always used to be loged up as root, but after i've reinstall debian over 8 times, i think to use my usser account too. Well, i logged up as user, open my X server, kde, and see that my computer work's very,very hard. What should be the problem?? I really don't get it...

I don't think we can do much for you.. "working very bad" doesn't tell us anything about your problem, what it could be. Are you experiencing any errors or something in particular?

I think i said all it could been said. No errors, just working verry slow... I got a PIII at 1Ghz with 128 mb of RAM. And work like 500 Mhz and 64 RAM... Logged as root i don't have this problem.

If you run
at a command line, it will tell you what proccess might be using up memory and processor.Code:top

Use "top", yeah. Use the "M" to see ram consume and "P" to see processor consume.

sorry i wrote 2 messeges butt first one was too long. I logged out from root and login as user, not with su. Simply logout from kde and login again, so you could compare root and user processes. Thak you guys for any help. Even my konqueror window in witch i'm writing right now moves in frames and low

Was your machine always this slow when using KDE, or is this a recent problem?

I ask because KDE takes up a lot of resources, compared to somthing like IceWM or JWM. Perhaps you could try one of those, and see if there is still a speed problem. 128 megs of memory may be a little on the light side for something like KDE or GNOME.

I told you. Work this way only when i'm logged as user. If i'm root, work's fine.
