    MPlayer

I have been unable to get mplayer through apt, and I was unable to get it to compile.

    My /etc/apt/sources.list includes:
    Code:
    deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ stable main
    deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ testing main
    deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ unstable main
When I do an apt-cache search mplayer I get this
    Code:
W: Couldn't stat source package list ftp://ftp.nerim.net stable/main Packages (/ var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.nerim.net_debian-marillat_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Pa ckages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)
W: Couldn't stat source package list ftp://ftp.nerim.net testing/main Packages ( /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.nerim.net_debian-marillat_dists_testing_main_binary-i386_ Packages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)
    W: Couldn't stat source package list ftp://ftp.nerim.net unstable/main Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.nerim.net_debian-marillat_dists_unstable_main_binary-i38 6_Packages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)
Anybody have any idea about what I am doing wrong?

I've website and post I read says to do it this way.

    Thanks,
    - EndianX -

    Angry Me Too..

I've given up on Nerim - I think they're out of action, I think - at least, I get the same messages after putting them in my sources.list.

I'll let you know if I find another source.

    Exclamation

wrong names, use sarge, etc, and sid instead.
    12/06/2005 :
New directories names. Now stable is sarge, testing is etch and unstable is sid. Please update your sources.list
    http://hpisi.nerim.net/

And, Endian X, you don't need all three locations, only the one for you version (if you have sarge, you only need sarge, etc....)
