I have been unable to get mplayer through apt, and I was unable to get it to compile.
My /etc/apt/sources.list includes:

I have been unable to get mplayer through apt, and I was unable to get it to compile.
My /etc/apt/sources.list includes:
When I do an apt-cache search mplayer I get thisCode:deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ stable main deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ testing main deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ unstable main

Me Too..
I've given up on Nerim - I think they're out of action, I think - at least, I get the same messages after putting them in my sources.list.
I'll let you know if I find another source.

wrong names, use sarge, etc, and sid instead.

New directories names. Now stable is sarge, testing is etch and unstable is sid. Please update your sources.list
And, Endian X, you don't need all three locations, only the one for you version (if you have sarge, you only need sarge, etc....)Brilliant Mediocrity - Making Failure Look Good
