HOW TO Build a File Sharing Web Server

hi ,
i want to Build a File Sharing Web Server (like RapidShare,MegaUpload ,etc.)
,i use Sarge with 2.4 kernel,can anybody know how to?

any suggestions will help

any reason it cant be an FTP server? That would be a lot simpler than a file sharing web server since it's designed for sharing files

but already have LAMP working , i want to give people possibility to share and a end user d'ont have time to learn about FTP

FTP wont take that long to set up... about half an hour on the net should sort out something like proftpd. Or you could even try using webmin to set it up quicker.

When u say file sharing will it be like drag and drop to the internet to share?
