    Oracle 10g on Ubuntu 5.10

    Is Oracle 10g compatable with Ubuntu? I have not tried to install oracle yet, but I was wanting to check if it can work before I try or if I need to install a different distro.

    Hello mate,
    ubuntu is not official supported by oracle. But i has a success installing oracle on ubuntu. There are a few errors during install which you can ignore and continue.

    there it should be everything you need to get oracle working on ubuntu.
